Accessibility statements

Physical Accessibility

Offering accessible lodging per the Americans with Disabilities Act is not required for Adventure Inn Bed and Breakfast because we have only two guest rooms. And per Section 26.304 of Title III, accessible lodging is not “readily achievable” here because both rooms are on the second floor.
That said, we make every effort to accommodate guests who have mobility issues. The three entrances to the house have one to three steps. Guests with mobility issues who stay with us appreciate that we have hardwood or tile floors and that the custom tile showers have grab bars and Euro-style shower heads that slide on a bar and can be removed. Either stall could accommodate a shower chair (not provided). The Toy Box shower (above) has a wide built-in bench.

Website Accessibility

Adventure Inn B&B is committed to making our website accessible to people with disabilities.

We updated our website in March 2019 to make it more possible for impaired users to see, to navigate, and to interact with and understand the content as per the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 Level AA (WCAG 2.0 AA).

We have tested the functionality of this website with the Google Chrome Accessibility Audit tool. Keyboard-only functionality also has been tested.

Accessibility standards and the methods of making websites more accessible are evolving, and we will continue monitor advancements and changes and to make every effort to meet improved accessibility standards.

It is our understanding that our reservation system does not meet all AA standards of WCAG 2.0. While we continue to address this matter with our reservation company, so that it too will be accessible to people with disabilities in the future, please contact us at the links below If you have any difficulty determining availability or booking a room.

As we attempt to continuously improve our website functionality, we appreciate any suggestions. We welcome impaired uses to share accessibility issues you find.
